Building Hours
- The building is now closed as of November 12, 2020.
- You can still call the office Monday to Friday from 8:30-4:30pm
- You can continue to GIVE online or, if needed, stop by the church and call the office to have someone pick it up at the door from you. Visit mysouthland.com/give to give online.

- Limited to five people, socially distanced, plus an officiant. Please contact care@mysouthland.com for help.
Gatherings (Order 1)
Examples: Events/Cells/Mid-week Middle School
- All in-person events are currently on pause.
- Home based cells. We recommend going online as the gathering limit is 5 people.
Children’s Programming (Order 10)
Example: Kids Church Sun 9am
- We are not currently having activities for this age group.
Childcare (Order 9)
Example: Nursery or Preschool
- We are not currently having activities for this age group.
General Guidelines for All of the Above
- Masks are mandatory for indoor public places (order 24), including church services. (See Mask Usage info below)
- Social distancing between households (2m or 6’); avoid hugging and hand shaking
- Screen yourself for symptoms
- Stay home when sick
- Hand washing/sanitizing/cough etiquette
- Vulnerable people are encouraged to exercise caution
- Keep attendance for contact tracing (keep for 21 days)
- Shared equipment (microphones, etc.) should be cleaned between each user

Use of Masks in Indoor Public Places is Mandatory (Order 24)
- A person who enters or remains in an indoor public place must wear a mask in a manner that covers their mouth, nose and chin without gapping.
- The operator of an indoor public place must ensure that every person who is not wearing a mask while in the indoor public place is given a reminder to do so as soon as practicable
- The use of masks does not apply in respect of the following:
- a child who is under five years of age.
- a person with a medical condition that is unrelated to COVID-19, including breathing or cognitive difficulties, or a disability, that prevents them from safely wearing a mask.
- a person who is unable to put on or remove a mask without the assistance of another person.
- an employee is in an area of the building that is not open to the public
- an employee is behind a non-permeable physical barrier
- a person is seated and is socially distanced (2m/6’) from a person of another household
Do's
- ensure the mask is made of at least two layers of tightly woven fabric, is free from tears or holes, and is clean and dry
- wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after touching the mask
- ensure your nose and mouth are fully covered.
- Practice social distancing even while wearing mask
- Stay home if you are sick
Don'ts
- Don’t touch the mask while wearing it.
- Don’t remove the mask to talk to someone.
- Don’t hang the mask from your neck or ears.

- PLEASE NOTE: The MB public health order allows churches to bring in the necessary team, within reason, to continue to provide online services to their church. Some churches will need more people and some less. We have been approved to continue to run our livestream services as we currently are and are following all the guidelines while doing so.
