International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church
Each year the number of Christians who are severely persecuted increases simply because they are followers of Jesus. Though we want to remember, pray, and support the persecuted church throughout the year, in November we intentionally stop and pray by joining the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. More than 360 million believers around the world experience high levels of persecution and discrimination due to their faith.
“We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed;” 2 Corinthians 4:8-8 (ESV)
