"Safe Families Canada, Steinbach, hosts vulnerable children and creates extended family-like support for desperate families through a community of volunteers from local churches who are motivated by compassionate faith to keep children safe and families intact. We desire to show them the heart of Jesus through radical hospitality (Hebrews 13:2), disruptive generosity (Titus 3:14, 2 Corinthians 9:7-8), and compassion fueled by mercy (Mark 6:34; Galatians 6:2). SFC acts as a preventative measure for foster care system involvement and strives to help create family support and stabilization and child abuse prevention, all while helping to strengthen the compassion ministries of the Church."
