Bill Rempel

Board Elder

Bill Rempel and his wife Lori have attended Southland Church since 1997. They were married on August 25th, 1990, and are blessed with six children – four boys and two girls – and three grandchildren. They love spending time with their family and eating good food. In summer, Bill enjoys boating and fishing with friends and family, as well as having lunch on the lake shore. For over thirty years, the Rempel family has gone on an annual camping trip with their extended family, which is the highlight of their summer. Bill and Lori have led a small group for over a decade and have helped make the café’s delicious cinnamon buns on Sunday mornings. Bill is passionate about being involved with an orphanage in Cambodia and has taken his family to Asia several times. He loves seeing people be the hands and feet of Christ by serving orphans and widows. Bill has worked at Steve’s Livestock Transporting for twelve years, and he’s spent the last four as CEO of its group of companies.

Bill’s favorite passage of scripture is Ephesians 4:11-12. He says, “I love hearing God’s voice. It’s amazing that God – who created the heavens and the earth – speaks to us. And His consistency is amazing!”

Bill joined the Board of Elders in 2023.
