Kevin Plett and his wife Connie have attended Southland Church since 2008. They were married on October 7th, 2006, and have been blessed with three daughters and two sons. As a family, they enjoy a wide variety of things, such as sports, fishing, helping on the dairy farm, and taking care of their many pets. Kevin has served the church by volunteering in the nursery, table leading in Marketplace Leaders, leading a small group among his staff, and being on the Prophetic Team. In his younger years, Kevin spent his free time hunting, fishing, trapping, and playing Sunday night hockey. Now he enjoys connecting with people, allowing God to minister through him, and running a dairy farm.
He says, “A favourite question I like to ask people is, ‘What is God doing in your world?’ It’s exciting for me to watch Jesus show up in marriage, farming, hunting, fishing, parenting, and really every area of my life. My faith has gone from a ‘fire insurance plan,’ to ‘Jesus, I need You every day.’ Most evenings I look back on the day and recognize spots where Jesus showed up that day.
Kevin joined the Board of Elders in 2018.
