Sheldon Falk
Sheldon Falk and his wife Cynthia have attended Southland Church since 2012. They were married on July 14th, 1990, and are blessed with four married children – three daughters and a son. Sheldon and Cynthia have six grandsons and two granddaughters. They love spending time with their family by sharing meals, spending time in their pool, sitting around the fire, playing outdoor games, and praying together. Sheldon has served the church by volunteering at the info desk and as one of Teena Cole’s Prayer Partners. In the past, he’s served as a table leader in Marketplace Leaders and Path to Freedom. He also gives the church trees, shrubs, and plants from his business, Falk Nurseries. Cynthia works for the church as an admin and volunteers as a personal prayer minister. Some of Sheldon’s passions are tree research and development, being outdoors, archery, reading, and enjoying music. Sheldon is the owner and operator of Falk Nurseries, a local greenhouse he started over thirty-five years ago.
Sheldon’s favourite passages of scripture are Matthew 6:33, Proverbs 3:5-6, and Philippians 4:4-9. He says, “What I love about Jesus is that I can find my true identity in His affirmation. I am so grateful for His forgiveness and the intimacy of walking with Him every day.”
Sheldon joined the Board of Elders in 2024.
